So listening to US99 tonight, I noticed that Mike Myers wasn't on air overnight like usual and HD2 was simulcasting in his place. On the website, Mike has been completely removed. Called the station and they said he's done. Any ideas of what happened to this guy? Budget cut? Downsizing? It just seems odd.

Yeah..good guy! Too bad, although having been there for ever, he was probably making 80 to 100k and the bosses neded to save some cash. He'll land on his feet!

Hey everyone!!
Thanks so much for posting about...ummm....ME!!! LOL. It is true...US99 let me go due to "budget cut backs". I had worked there for 17 years starting in promotions back in 1990...then a weekend/fill-in jock beginning in 1991. I moved to evenings and then finally to over-nights. It was a long run and a great one, too. Got to meet a lot of awesome people...made a lot of friends. Fun times for sure.
I have not gone to WCCQ...I read that in one of the posts. Although a great friend of mine works there...Carol McGowan...she's a sweetheart and I've known her for years!! In fact, I haven't gone anywhere, yet. My 35th birthday was this past weekend and I just wanted to celebrate that and have lots of fun....so that's what I did. Spent some time with family and friends. Now that the birthday celebrations are all done, I guess it's time to go out looking. I'll keep all of you posted on anything that comes up. I welcome any suggestions since I am new to the board here. Thanks for everything.
