After only two years on the air Dr. Mike Newcomb who started his radio stint at 1100 KFNX and eventually moved over to The Air America affiliate 1010 KXXT has been picked up in California at KRXA 540 am http://www.krxa540.com with more stations to come. Dr. Mike I believe is the first political talk show host to be syndicated out of the Phoenix area. Congratulatins Dr. Mike Newcomb

Bad Idea

Ed Hamblen wanted to syndicate Sam Steiger, but Steiger refused. Why? Because if he was syndicated, he could no longer talk about local politics, which was his forte. Same would be true with Newcomb, if you take the local politics out, what is he going to talk about and what different would he be from all the other syndicated talk shows. Could Newcomb talk for one hour without mentioning Napolitano? I doubt it.

KXAM once aired a show of two dudes from Washington DC. All they talked about was traffic on the loop, and local events. No interest at all to somebody 2000 miles away!

I think the same will be true of Liddy & Hill.

Everybody's dream is to be syndicated, but few make it.

I have to disagree
