I hear so many of the same songs over and over on 93.7, I would think a station that plays everything would have a slightly larger library. I admit, though, I do like the station.

Pavarotti? Dead Kennedys? Stations like Mike do have a bit more variety...and don't confine their sound to just R&B-based or rock-based...they mix in 70s pop, 80s new wave, etc.--the occasional "oh wow" song you haven't heard in awhile. But still while they are "Ipod-based", it's a limited Ipod and there's more than a bit of repetition. But maybe less than other stations.
I do have to laugh, though. The other day I was listening to Oldies 103 and I thought, knowing them they'll
play "Unchained Melody" (Righteous Bros.) next, one of their overplayed songs. Honest to God, it WAS the next song! I have ESP!

That will be his excuse when WAAF goes down in flames, "I've been working on MIKE's numbers."Lucylu said:Don't know why MIKE got rid of Steve Jones as PD. It sounded like he was doing well. It'll be interesting to see what Ron Valeri does with the station, that is, when his not busy with his pissing match with BCN.
