Mike Rhyner (1310 the Ticket) hit in bad car wreck

He talked about this on the show today. He was coming up McKinney with a green at Lemmon (by Walgreens, not the other one-way Lemmon lanes), when somebody coming down Lemmon (the Hook Line & Sinker side) didn't even try to stop and >>wham!!<< knocked Rhynes so hard it pushed his SUV clear across McKinney. He posted these pics on his Twitter account:

These are the only 2 pix I found so far. Danny had already seen them, but Corby hadn't (and had the typical reaction). Mike said he was all right but he was a little sore, and a scratch or bruise here and there. His left knee may have taken the brunt. The other guy was driving a Porsche Cayenne, and was taken to the hospital. Mike turned down an ambulance trip but may go have himself looked at later. No word yet on what the guy was doing (3 guesses!!) or how fast he was going. I missed when they said it happened, I think it was this morning.

Thankfully, a new gray stone is not needed for the old grey wolf.

there was a bad accident at that intersection yesterday (Thursday) just before 6:00 PM, ,,the ambulance was already there, but I bet it was the same accident (the pics look right)

Rhynes said his accident happened in the morning, about 10 a.m. while the Musers and Norm were crosstalking.

McKinney Avenue seems to spawn mishaps. I've been wiped out twice by red-light runners as I was trying to cross it on Fairmount. The first time I spent 3 weeks in the hospital. The second time, the red-light-runner only whacked my right front quadrant, and I was uninjured . My car was totaled both times. And both the other drivers were fully insured.
