I inquired about the emoticons over in the Ask RI area. The MBE says they are migrating to a new server, and the emoticons will be absent until the migration is completed. There's also a problem with the RI Server clock, according to the MBE.
 
Very cool!! Thanks. I'll check out the podcast if it's still up. I listened to his show yesterday for the very first time, and it was actually pretty good and had some interesting topics. Even the political discussions weren't heavy handed. I had imagined something completely different, like an RMS ripoff, just based on what some folks on here said a few months and years ago. I never checked it out on 105.3.
