I have enjoyed Mike Siegel since his days at KING 1090 in the late 1980's. The best local talk stations for promoting advocacy journalism w/ populist viewpoints are KVI 570 and KING 1090, both in Seattle, under Brian Jennings and Mike Siegel. And, both got huge ratings with this advocacy format, with KVI beating KIRO. Remember the Tennis Shoes with Senator Patti Murray and Siegel, that was hilarious whether you agree or disagree.
