Mike Taylor loses sidekick John Delarossa

Major San Antonio Broadcasting Celebrity Mike Taylor announces today John Delarossa is moving on. Those are some big shoes to fill.

I know John personally and he is one of the coolest guys you could ever meet.

Surely his replacement is going to change the entire dynamics of Taylors show. Either way, I wish John and even Taylor luck in the future.

"Major San Antonio Broadcasting Celebrity Mike Taylor" now that's an ego ::) and I think it's the first time I've ever heard of him being called that... I can think of other things I've heard but...

Its funny, on 1250 they now have the Jason and Ari Show. Here in San Antonio we can't get a local person of Mexican Heritage doing Sportstalk..? I noticed Walter Passacritti was kicked to the curb on the morning show.

Don't lose sight of the bigger picture. At the rate local sportstalk is disappearing and given the dismal ratings it draws, it won't be much longer until there aren't any people at all doing local sports talk in SA.

Ari Temkin is the guy from Austin, and after listening to him with Sean Adams on 104.9, and IMO he's much better and way more professional than what the Zone had and what passes for sports talk in SA. He knows sports, he can talk sports and he doesn't have to resort to pretending to be teen-age boy with giggles and innuendos to keep you interested in what he's talking about.

Yeah he is good. No silly "guy-talk, slobbering over women". Chris Duel really was disappointing. Now I have a choice when I don't like what Mike Taylor is talking about.

Ari Temkin....well informed and professional. San Antonio is lucky to have him and it's really a loss for Austin radio.

I agree, that guy is good. Mike Taylor has some stiff competition.
