The word I hear is that Mike Taylor is not happy with his contract. (Like many at Clear Channel!) Rumor around the building is that he is ripe for a change. Seems like if 1250 were smart they would go get him. His numbers are surprisingly good considering the shows around him. Last book he was better than WOAI in same time slot. It would be a great move for 1250, hurt the competition, and make a big splash. Maybe they would even show up in the book….

No, sorry not Mike, but I am in the building, and I am a fan of sports talk, not sure I love his show, but it is the best we have here right now... I'm just throwing out what I heard, and putting two and two together. Unhappy host w/ratings + Station with no ratings, seems like a match. :-\
 
what makes him think that BMP is going to pay him any more $$$ than CC? Maybe if he cleaned the carpet and washed the windows....
 
1250 should jump on this. It would be a great kick in the butt to C.C.
 
aint gonna happen. BMP is a JOKE of a company and they are firing people as we speak. Taylor is a wanna be. I can understand doing stuff to get your listeners fired up, but he forces it WAY too much. Lame.
 
I guess Mike... ooops I mean "radiogeek40" didnt get the media bite he was hoping for with his "announcment" about being unhappy at Clear Channel. Mike, i mean "radiogeek40", has cancelled his account. Nice moves Mike, thank God you're not heading the CIA with you're stealth actions.
