Mikee

There was a DJ in the recent past who went by the name of "Mikee" and he had a morning show. Where is he now, and does he still use that name?

Did KSJO (solid rock) actually tank, or did the owners decide to go after the hispanic audience, and dumped the rock format?

I remember when Country 94.9 KSAN moved to 107.7. On their web site was a grave stone that read, RIP KSAN We NEVER Lost. Meaning as a country formated station, they never were second to any other bay area country station but yet, changed formats anyway when they moved to 107.7

it did tank, it was like down to all the way to 1.4

Okay, his name is Mike Esparza but went by Mikey. In '99 he did 7-Midnight on KSJO, Rock 105.3 San Diego and a station in Salt Lake City. He called it "The Mikey Triplecast." Now I don't remember if he went to Texas to do mornings there before doing afternoons on KSJO. Let's just say he did afternoons on KSJO then went to Texas for a while. Then I think he cameback to do afternoons on KSJO. Later he was moved to mornings when Lamont & Tonelli went to The Bone. This was short lived as he went to San Diego to do mornings because CC were getting rid of Howard Stern. And Bob & Tom replaced Mikey.
