"In an effort to lower operating costs CCR (Clear Channel) releases Mikey Esparza from the Mikey Show at KIOZ FM (Rock 105.3) at the end of 2009 after they reach no new contract terms. Mikey heads to a crosstown station that debuts in a few weeks."

No he wasn't. If he was, he'd be working somewhere else, but because he has been in DALLAS for so long, its the only place he can work. Why? Because he isn't good unless you're from here. You didn't see other markets calling up, "HEY RUSS YOU ARE FREE! COME ON UP!"

Look up and K&T's ratings when they were here and get back to me.

Why would he go anywhere else when he's getting paid to do nothing? Paid more each year btw than Kramer and Twitch made combined, total, for their entire careers.

Sure. Whip them out. Go ahead and compare your night and overnight ratings to Russ' morning and afternoon drive. That's funnier than anything you two ever said on the air.
