Milky Chance "stolen dance"

This one is not a first listen but it grows on you the more you hear it. I see it being a top 20 hit at least for chr, it will be a nice song in adding variety and change of sound to the format.
CHR is on fire right now, a few years ago it was too heavy on the turbo pop but now you have a variety of tempos and some really great straight up pop songs like Rude, Am I wrong, and now boom clap and maps, not a great song from Maroon 5 but it is pretty good.

Might take some time for Stolen Dance, American chr's are programmed based on fear which explains why it took 7 months for Clean Bandit "Rather be" to finally get airplay and on its way to being a hit. Latch was even worse, that song came out in December of 2012, a long time for a song that was a clear undeniable hit from the first listen.

I will say that chr could use a little rock product right now, but with the Kongos and Bleachers they are good pop rocks songs but they just don't seem to be testing very well. Vance Joy seems a little too folky to work at chr, but it is a good song and it might just test well. I can fault the chrs for being so cautious with the rock product being that the scores are not there or they seem to really take time to develop.

lol. just as it has always been, 3 months later and this is now one of the top 5 allaccess most picked for their hot new music.

Maybe if radio paid better they could hire the few of us with ears that can hear hits, then maybe radio would be viable to the under 30 crowd who want new music and don't get it from radio unless it is a proven artist with a new song that is beyond obvious.

I knew latch was a hit Christmas time 2012!

Clean Bandit, knew that was a hit in January.

Also knew right away that songs like wiggle and anaconda were trash, id say it is more important to know what wont be a hit than knowing what will be. None the less radio leaves shares of core demos on the table by being a follow media programmed by fear.
