You can rest your non case all you want, but the fact remains that Fred Winston is a very talented air personality.
Having said that, if Citadel hires a live morning host it will be the cheapest hire they can get.
They will put Donnie Osmond in Middays

hey radioman, i AGREE, Fred is Terriffic! but like several other talented individuals, but you must agree they've all been around the Chicago radio block too many times.

More than likely WLS-FM will hire someone cheap or just run more of Scott Shannon.
I was half way kidding about Donnie Osmond, but it is a Cidadel program. It just would not suprise me to see Donnie on WLS-FM

i would rather hear a "Local Personality" than more syndication, this is Chicago, not Decatur Illinois.. by the way i read that Miller "Phoned" in his morning show from a "studio" in his home! WTF! couldn't find time to make it to the studio.. where did he live 10 miles away?radioaircheck said:

Not unusual for this business, or other industries. Covering themselves. They either had someone in mind, or a staff member who would do an acceptable job (for less money).
Doesn't seem fair for so many out of work across the country. Especially a talent ready to MOVE ON UP to a market like Chicago.
