Million Dollar Morning Show

hmmm, looks like it might be a publicity stunt/contest?

It's not an Infinity Jack, could it be that they will audition listeners just to play snipets during the promos for the new morning show and then bring in a ringer? Or no morning show at all. Maybe it's a million dollar prize and you go in there for a week and do what they tell you.

I just can't see Jack having a "morning zoo" or a "Eric & Kathy, Joanie & Chachi, Bob & Betty" type annoying couple morning show either.

JACK ATTITUDE AND MUSIC, MUSIC, MUSIC ARE THE ONLY THING JACK SHOULD HAVE ON IN THE MORNING.

And you don't need traffic and weather either.

What happened in San Diego is that Jeff and Jer were kept on in the flip from Star to Jack, so that people are used to a morning show on a Jack in San Diego (although Jeff and Jer were not playing any music after the flip to Jack). So KFMB's breaking one of the supposed rules of Jack, but there is a precedent here. (Jeff and Jer are leaving for another station--which one?)

And it seems to me that the DFW Jack does have a traffic/weather person in morning drive, despite the "Want to know the weather? Look out your window" and "Want to know the traffic? Listen to (insert co-owned news-talk station here)" liners.
