Mills Lane, who rose to fame first as a boxer, then referee, Washoe County district attorney, and judge, died Tuesday morning in Reno. He was 85.

He started as a boxer, then a boxing referee, before he becoming a district attorney and a judge.
The reason I post his obit here is because some on here might remember him for his TV court show, “Judge Mills Lane,” which ran for three seasons, from 1998 to 2001.
