https://radioinsight.com/headlines/182549/minnesotas-killer-bee-promoting-big-change/

Coming in 2020 to 95.9 WLKX-FM Forest Lake/1300 WQPM Princeton/107.5 W298CE Big Lake MN

The majority of the Christmas songs being played are from Country artists perhaps indicating the future direction for the stations which are co-owned with Country trimulcast “Bob” 105.5 KDDG Albany/106.1 KLCI Elk River/107.5 KBGY Faribault. Northpine.com adds that the social media platforms for the previous “Big Q” Oldies format heard on WLKX-FM/WQPM until September 2018 are also promoting the upcoming change.

WLKX/WQPM serve the northern suburbs of the Minneapolis market.

Here is an Update

Milestone Radio Rock leaning Classic Hits “Killer Bee Radio” 95.9 WLKX-FM Forest Lake/1300 WQPM Princeton/107.5 W298CE Big Lake MN has flipped to Oldies “The Big Q“.

The move resurrects the format and branding heard on the stations until September 2018. It had been kept alive as webcaster since then. The format is also heard on 105.5 KDDG-HD3 Albany and 106.1 KLCI-HD3 Elk River MN. The stations had been stunting since December 20 with a Country leaning Christmas music playlist.
