I meant to post this earlier, but anywho...
Houston has 3.5 sports stations and not 1 is carrying the baseball playoffs..
It's probably a money thing, but still Not hearing baseball on the radio is :'(.
While driving home last night, I did pull it from 1380AM. It is faint but it was there..

And other minor rant is that, I hearing ALOT of repeat songs on JACK. I think I heard Flock of Seagulls twice yesterday among other songs repeated day to day..

ESPN Radio has the playoffs, so you need to complain to the folks at 97.5, which supposedly has the option to run the games.

I've heard a few calls on Charlie Pallilo's show on 790 wondering where the baseball radio coverage was.

You've got to ask yourself, why did ESPN and KBME split up in the first place? I'm not so sure this deal is any better for ESPN Radio than the one they had with Clear Channel on 790. How long do you suppose ESPN will continue their affiliation with Cumulus? I suspect the contract was around 2 years long, much like the one for KBME.

With regards to Jack's rotation, I will say this: It's still better than "Crock 103.7".

First of all, I think we have to say Houston has more than 3.5 sports stations. Have you noticed on weekends that KTRH and KPRC (MOJO) are slammed with tons of college football games! If you're looking for weekend news in Houston you are out of luck - just like the baseball game you're looking for. I remember straining my ears one night to listen to KMOX St. Louis for a playoff game.

With Jack's rotation, it is a situation of the new Program Director only choosing the familiar music that he knows. That's ok because Cumulus corporate will soon catch the problem and it will be fixed! And eventually Cumulus will give up on 97.5.
