Starting monday Piolin Por La Manana will no longer be on KQBU 93.3 Fm La Que Buena. His show will air on KOVE 106.5 Recuerdos. No station is expected to change frequencies at this moment but only his show will. According to Univisionradio there has been a high demand to listen to Piolin on a better signal.

Also I heard Recuerdos playing the same music that Mega and XO is playing.
I also heard one of the Djs from Mega saying this:
I want to send a shout out to so and so in english. Can they still talk in english in that station? Or are they going back to start being bilingual?

Are they going to move la Que buena to 104.9? Or are they just going to get rid of la que buena and have party on 93.3 and 104.9 like theyy had Klove back in the days?

Mega 101 made musically adjustments, blew out the staff, has a new logo and is now targeting women exclusively.
KLTN and KOVE has make adjustments because KLOL is beating them both in PPM.
Look for the Univision and Leiberman to turn up the heat on Mega 101 and turn that tide.

New information La Que Buena and Recuerdos are both broadcasting Piolin Por La Manana, I think its something temporary until they find something to broadcast either on La Que Buena 93.3 or on Recuedos 106.5

I apologize . I gave out the incorrect information. Party 104.9 is announcing at almost every commercial break to listen in to 93.3 at NOON on TUESDAY DEC 4th. So maybe some of Univisions stations will be swapping frequencies..................................................... This morning PIolin por la manana show was simulcasting on both 93.3 KQBU and 106.5 KOVE

Perhaps Tejano will come back to the FM dial in Houston after a 5 yr absence off of the FM dial. Tejano has been at KRTX 980 AM since 2002

well at least one out of four rumors above is right. the other three are way off. now you can think about it. if piolin move to another freq and one of those rumors above is right and finally party announcing to listen on 93.3, then some freq is left out off .......... somethings missing here, well tommorow you will hear

Your kidding right? There is no way that Tejano is coming to FM. Not by Univision, the only way we could probably have Tejano on Fm is if KLOL simulcast KSAB 99.9 FM. And that will never happend, at least not now Mega is doing to good for that to happend.

He's right, this time. Tejano is just not a viable format in Houston on a full FM
