Miss Betty is retiring :(

It is bitter / sweet to tell everyone in West Tennessee that Mrs. Betty Eggenberger has announced she will retire in September of this year. Mrs. Betty has worked as Business Manager / Traffic Director for Forever Communications here in Jackson since May of 2003. Before that, Mrs. Betty was Business Manager / General manger of WYNU back when I first came to this market in 1992. She and Larry Wood gave me my first job in the Jackson market back then. Mrs. Betty has been a huge influence on my career and me personally. I know she’s had a similar effect on a great number of people that have had the pleasure to work with her. I’m sad to see her leave, but happy she’s going to have more time with the grandchildren and to play golf! You she her eyes light up when she speaks of either! LOL We’re planning a little get together a little closer to her retirement date and I’ll post it here. I feel very safe in saying that anyone that wishes to come will be more than welcome to do so.
Now the difficult task of finding someone to take Mrs. Betty’s place as Business Manager and Traffic…… That’s big shoes!

Betty Eggenberger is one of the best people I've ever worked for and with & I pity the fool who tries to take her place. In fact, it will probably take 2 or 3 people to fill her shoes.
Also, her husband looks like Harrison Ford.

Well we NEED someone to take this position! LOL Betty is golfing begining September 30th! Anyone interested needs to apply now! ;)

Greg,

Please tell Ms. Betty to enjoy her free time. I wish nothing but the best during her retirement.

Thanks,

Bo Bradshaw

We're working on a date and location for Miss Betty's retirement party. If you've had the pleasure of working with or for Miss Betty we want you to be at the party! All friends of Miss Betty will be welcome and expected regardless of who you work for now! ;)
