Thanks, Doug. I understand from the Mighty Moderator back at Radio-Info.com World Headquarters that my post was inadvertently deleted -- I received a very nice message explaining exactly what happened, and I understand that it was a simple mistake.
That said, shame on anyone for believing Verne White and his claim of being "Radio Legend Chris Edwards" -- which he is still trumpeting on his website -- and that what he is doing is anything close to being what 1260/KYA was back in the day. This is merely a bunch of songs strung together with jingles in between.

May be a great format, but this is not the "Real Chris Edwards" The Real One is with Clear Channel, and is by no way affiliated with this Imposter! In 1968 when Chris Edwards arrived in SF ,he was on with "The legendary Tall Tom Campbell, Bill Holley, and this guy Verne White is a Imposter, I have tapes of the "Real Chris Edwards" doing the "KIOI Time Machine" back in 1981, you can tell the difference! This guy Verne White is taking credit for "Legendary Radio in which he was NO part of!!!If Tall Tom reads these, hes aware of "The Imposter" how do you immitate "Chrissy Edwards?' Verne White, I hope you dont try to fool anyone else, Remember this you never got a check from AVCO broadcasting!!! Give the " Real Chris Edwards " credit for what he did, putting KYA on Top!!! Kenny in Concord , A KYA Buff since 1962!!!
