Missy Elliot on WNOE

Was I the only one that heard Missy Elliot's "Hot Boyz" on WNOE Friday evening?!?!

At around 10:30 or so on Friday night, I was flipping stations and came across WNOE. I stopped to see what was on and to my surprise, I heard her song on! Well, I left it on thinking it was part of a commercial or something, but it wasn't. lol The WHOLE song played on the station! :p ::) Whatta gas! And right after it, was Jo Dee Messina's "Heads Carolina, Tails California...." That segued really well!!!

Thoughts??

About 2 years ago a Big D&Bubba break aired on Q93.

It happens. When 7 stations all share a common database, and are linked together with each control room p.c. able to access the entire CCNO "library" you get these mistakes.

All it takes is for someone to enter the wrong number and you get the wrong song.

Example: Q93s songs may be between 5,000 to 5,999

NOE's songs might be between 3,000-3,999. One typo or a poor drag and click technique and that's what you get.

No one noticed because there's no one in the studio--the beauty of voicetracking.

Whatever. CC should fire all involved. ;D
