Mix 105.1 and 102 Jamz

Is it me or do they both seem to overlap now? I know that Jamz is more rhythmic with the hits. But still why sound similar? Not sure how the ratings for Mix 105.1 this time last year were but their doing great right now, not sure if its help from 102 Jamz.

As for 102 Jamz I wonder how CBS thinks the stations doing.

Who's got the tighter playlist? Thank God for Friday night 80's, but that needs to be refreshed too...

I'm surprised that WOMX still runs that considering they don't play 80's music any other time anymore (come to think of it they hardly play any 90's). I think that once the Blue Martini pulls out it will be goodbye Friday night 80's. WOCL could always pick it up though.

It sounds like Mix has leaned more Rock- and Alternative-heavy (albeit light stuff) since 102 Jamz turned in a more CHR/Pop direction...

Mix and Jamz are indistinguishable in their core playlists anymore. Mix leans a bit retro (the occasional 90s hit, they still have Friday Night '80s), while Jamz occasionally throws their rejected Urban audience a bone.

I will support Mix doing "Friday Night '90s" if they still have Twisted (Flavahood Sexual Remix).
