MIX 106.5

What do you guys think about MIX106.5? Do you think it has staying power? Or do you think it is becoming obsolete and will eventually be squeezed out by JACK-FM and Z104.3? What are your thoughts?
 
Personally, I think it will stay. It gets a lot of advertiser support, despite their format shift back in '08. Plus, ratings are good for them. Jack is rated a bit low at the moment. Z will stay where it's at.
 
I agree, I dont see Jack as a threat but just like the 80's when 106.5 and 104.3 were both top 40, It didnt last long and i think just like then something has to give. Also id like to ask everyone a question and that is why is CBS pushing WLIF towards Hot-AC? Sometimes you cant tell the difference between WLIF and WWMX.
 
Yes 101.9 and 106.5 have been sounding very similar lately. I also noticed that 101.9 does use the name by Lite-FM anymore. They are now calling themselves 1019-LIF. I wonder what that's about?
