Happened across this gem on the mix925.com website. It's a tease for the morning show:

"We're going to talk about e-mail edicate...specifically if it's ever OK to break-up with someone via e-mail!!!"

Memo to Mr. Elliott and crew:

Two words:

Webster's Dictionary.

Learn it. Use it. Live it.

> Oh man that's too funny! Who proofreads the entries before they get posted? Everytime I see the word : edicate it makes me laugh.. maybe we should start a dictionary drive for them and deliver a few unabridged versions.

It's just a crying darn shame that a topic of such social importance has been trivialized as a result of someone's spelling error.

This is the website for a business and should, therefore look professional. Proofread before posting and double check your spelling (in this case "edicate" is actually spelled etiquette). It can make the difference between gaining business (or in this case listeners) or making a mockery of your business.

I always thought the only proper etiqutte for breaking up with someone is doing it in person, in their face.

Edicate (ED-DICK-ET) 1. How radio stations in a yuppie office building near Factoria Mall in Washington State pronounce and spell "etiquette". 2. Proper use of the male reproductive organ.
