Mix 92.9's First Non-Christmas Song.

After being "All-Christmas" music from Thanksgiving Day, November 24 until midnight on Christmas Day, what was the first Non-Christmas song Mix 92.9 played at midnight, December 26? I was in Knoxville over Christmas and noticed the first song B-97.5 played when the "All-Christmas" was over was "Babe"-Styx. Also, how long after "All-Christmas" music ended, did it take Mix 92.9 to play "Escape (the Pina Colada Song)"- Rupert Holmes or "This Very Moment"- Billy Vera again? Considering Mix 92.9 went a whole month without playing either song, after playing them both at least daily for eleven months, I would find it very surprizing if both WERE NOT played within the first hour after they resumed their regular programming.

Should have been Steely Dan...go back Jack and "Do It Again"

sorry.....but who cares

Here's your answer

Mix switched back to AC at 5:01am on the 26th. The last Christmas song was AL Jarreau's The Christmas Song and the first song back was Endless Love by Luther and Mariah.

Mix first played Escape at 8:51 Wednesday morning. They haven't gotten around to playing This Very Moment yet as of 11:23 Thursday.

What a good time for us to make Nashville radio's new years resolutions for them. Where Cumulus did one good deed for Nashville by giving us an oldies station after 96.3 flipped; They could resolve to do two good deeds this year. The first one is to get rid of the fan...quickly!

Re: This Very Moment

Probably because there is no such song called "This Very Moment". The song is actually titled "At This Moment".

Maybe Mix can play "Escape" (the Pina
Colada Song) endlessly all New Year's
weekend to make up for it's absence.

Champagne Jam is to hard rock.

Happy New Year.

You are correct about the title. No matter what it's called, though, the song is awful.
