Mix 94.1 Going All Christmas

On Friday November 17, 2006 at 5pm Mix 94.1 is going all Christmas. I wonder if this is a indication on December 26 that we will have a new format on Mix 94.1.

I am surprised that MIX is waiting until the 17th to go Christmas ??? Additionally, why go the Christmas angle and not "Holiday" music. This is a change from the past 4-5 years! ;) (i love these things)

I think Mix goes Christmas every year with no resulting new format.

Maybe not this year. I hope. :) My friend Rusty from homeroom IM'ed me last night and told me that he called the weekend DJ on The Rebel. He comes into the Big Boy where Rusty cooks. Rustys girlfriend Audrey served him last Friday night. (She's so easy. :p) This is what they know. This is a deep dark radio secret. ;D It all depends on what Christmas music Mix is playing to know if the format will change.

--- If Mix is playing the old boring religious Christmas music like White Christmas and Jingle Bells at the start :'( then they won't be anything.

--- If Mix is playing the old Elton John and Paul McCartney music then Mix is changing to an old people format like Elvis Presley and Billy Bud Holley.

--- If they're playing stuff from like Celine Dione then they're going to change to a all country slow dance song format like Faith Hill and Conway Tweety.

--- If they're playing Burl Ives from the TV and Charlie Brown and Linux too then Mix is changing to music sort of like Movin but called Chill. It's got some jazz and some dance and some hip hop. It rocks.

--- If Mix is playing the John Mellencamp and Bruce Springstein stuff my dad listened to in high school than ClassX has scored their first kill and Mix will change to an all automated metal format like this thing my dads cousin Eddy told about that he used to listen to in college called the Z Rock.

--- Whoopy will still be the morning DJ no matter. That will sure be a great christmas gift. :) Rusty just IM'ed me again. His dad bowels with the old engineer at some AM radio station from out in Wilmington and says the same. He oughta know. If he knows anymore I'll post it here. Let's keep this going. I hope they play Burl Ives. :D Shout out to my man Keys2. ;) Clemwriter out.

Possible post of the year!

White Christmas and Jingle Bells are not religous.

They were in my family.

I remember me dear old Pappy saying every year.."If I hear that God-danged Jingle Bells again, I'll give those carolers a holy White Christmas butt-whuppin!"
