Mix 94.7 - Leaning more CHR

I am now listening more to KAMX Mix 94.7. It seems that someone at Entercom was listening and taking the station in a more rhythmic/hit music direction. They play more Rhythmic/CHR artist like Rihanna, Taio Cruz, Bruno Mars, etc. As far as 80s music, I only hear like one 80s song like every 2 hours.

Is Mix 94.7 leaning more CHR/Top 40? Or is this the new sound of the Hot AC format?

Does anyone think Mix will become full blown CHR/Top 40 in the future? Are they currently trying to compete with 96.7 Kiss FM?

BTW, I really like this Tailgate mix they are currently playing. They REALLY should do this like every Saturday night or something :D

In the last Tailgate mix, I heard Sir Mix a Lot "Baby Got Back" and I was going like WTF? Also I heard A Beach Boys song and no it wasn't Kokomo.

They tried Top 40 in 1994 with Party 94.7 and it didn't do so well. I wish it would become Mega, (I don't like HD radio it sounds too canned) AM sounds better than HD in my opinon.

I have heard a few songs on Mix lately that have surprised me. Likely a kneejerk to the PPMs, like several other stations in town have done.

I doupt dance will ever come back on mainstream on FM analog.
