Mix 96.1 simulcasting?

Could that be a multipath pickup? How close were you to the tower?
 
Well tonight I heard dead air a little statically but I heard this in NW San Antonio also. If I am not mistaken 97.7 was Univision.
Lets see what happens. Or is it pirate radio again, about 4 years ago or so is what it was.

They was broadcasing dead air when I drove through there last monday night, but every so often I would hear there ID saying "this is Cuero's original tejano hit station" with lots of cuts, apparently they are having lots of audio trouble.
 
Yes 97.7 if it is Univision was simulcasting KXTN 107.5 however it was not strong enough to come into NW SA.
Last night what I heard was just dead air with a little static, this morning there was nothing but static no transmission at all how it usually is on 97.7 for SA anyways.

From my understanding, Univision would like to move the signal from Cuero to the Tower of Americas. Currently, the FCC has allowed a construction permit for the signal to be moved from Cuero to McQueeny. That would bring the signal into San Antonio and south Austin.

That would put it really close to KBXX's 60db curve.
