mix 96.7 flipped?

has mix 96 flipped to oldies as oldies 96.7? while airchecking i discoved oldies on 96.7. no other unusual stations are coming in. no way off stations. just the usual locals. so has 96.7 flipped? RFLA you are close whats the format?

confirmed--mix 96 has indeed flipped to oldies 96.7 with the best of the 60s and 70s. does 96.7 reach new orleans?

I don't think 96.7fm (part of the Houma group of stations) reaches New Orleans, I think its signal is mainly southwest of New Orleans for the Houma-Thibodaux-Morgan City region.
Though I find it interesting that there's a full-time oldies station in that area, KTIB-am since returning to the airwaves only plays oldies on a part-time basis when they're not running Moon Griffion, Rush Limbaugh, and some of their local talk shows.

It's been like this for about 2 weeks now playing mostly late 1960s to early 1970s pop... It's not really a true oldies station as I haven't heard some of the burnt out favorites yet, but I also haven't heard some of the late 1970s stuff of a classic hits station.

Edit- They are now playing rock/roll and remember (the Dick Clark show).

The other poster is right on the signal. The tower is in western Terrebonne parish in the town of Gibson. The col is Morgan City and has to protect 96.5 KFTE to the west, and the 96.7 in Biloxi to the east....

Pretty much a Houma/Thibodaux/Morgan City station
