MIX 96.9 AM Show Opening

I was just going to ask about this today because I could of sworn the other morning I heard two guys yaking it up on mix and was waiting for them to say who they were but they didn't. Anyone know who they had on in the morning in the last week?
 
For the past few weeks Ron Geronimo has been doing mornings. He's normally the midday guy and of course the PD... and a pretty good one, too!

Well, Carey Edwards is still on the loose after Entercom slashed the budget in Austin. I'm sure he'd come back to town if the dollars were right, and after hearing what he did in Austin, I think he'd do a great morning show.

As long as Clear Channel doesn't mess with Bryan Allen, I'll be happy. He's probably the best person on their payroll. Give him whatever he wants. He's earned it.

Edwards would be an excellent choice. I hope he is interested in applying. I would love to hear him again on the Valley airwaves.

I also agree with you on Bryan Allen. I enjoy listening to him.

Any chance Clear Channel would stay in house and leave Ron Geronimo in mornings or move Bryan Allen to mornings? Probably good ways to save $$$.

If I remember correctly, Bryan did mornings at KVRY. Given that Clear Channel posted the opening could mean that they want new talent on morning drive and/or Bryan isn't interested in doing mornings. I can't imagine being excited about waking up at 3am Monday-Friday if I had afternoons.
