Mix 98.3 WDXE is no more

Dunno when this happened, Just noticed the same thing playing on 98.3 and the 100.9 translator out of Pulaski, that can somewhat make its way down here to NW Madison co AL, didn't think much of it, thought maybe Prospect just decided to give one of the many WWLX translators to one of their other stations. Until it ID'd as "105.3 The X". checked it out, and sure enough, WDXE is now simulcasting WWLX. Takes me back to childhood memories of listing to WINJ "98.3 J-Rock & Roll" back in the 90s.

Wonder if this had anything to do with WRSA down in huntsville rebranding as "Mix 96.9"

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but by change do you have any idea whether 98.3 ever broadcast in HD? Apparently it was listed on the HDradio.com website at one time, but the listing is now gone. Chances are it was aborted before any additions of HD equipment were installed, but I figured I might ask anyway.

98.3 did broadcast HD from the time that it's new site was built near Leoma TN (2006?) until about 2 years ago. There was very little HD listenership and managment made the decision to turn off the HD rather than keep paying the license fees. Now with the sale of the stations, I will assume that HD is gone forever.
