Mix Factory "Take Me Away"

Who here remembers this one? Big on the Rave scene in Florida in the 90s, and was also played a lot on the radio in Central Florida (95.3 Party, 93.3 FLZ, and especially on XL 106.7). The song was originally a Rave hit in England and Scotland, and was actually a FULL SONG:

A couple of other remixes to check out...the Happy Hardcore Remix ;D 8)

I love this song. :) You can still hear it from time to time on XMs BPM.

Thanks for the memories. That makes me think of Kromozone Project - "Take My Love" which was also big in central Florida, as was K5- Passion (both songs were huge on WXXL and WPYO).

"Passion" by K5 was actually a Billboard Hot 100 Hit. So lots of stations played it. :)

Yeah, back when K5 was new, WHHH Hot 96 in Indianapolis played it, and so did WMGI 100.7 Mix fm Terre Haute. Also, when I worked at WCBH, Which back then was a Dance CHR, we played it in our gold section, It got tons of requests, but no one knew the artist or song title and attempted to sing it on air.

I still have all three of those on CD Promo's. Mix Factory, I am gonna have to bust that one out tonight... As for Kromozone Project, man, that whole album was pretty tight (his follow-up was pretty decent too.) He also released a track called "Energy" which the DJ X mix is one of my all time fav's: sounds out of phase and just the right amount of stutter edits, now thats HOT!

;D
