Mix Maine will now own all of the former Stephen King Zone Corporation stations. Will WKIT continue to operate out of Bangor or from Augusta like Mix Maine's other stations? Or will they consolidate their Bangor stations out of WKIT's newly-build facilities downtown?

Stephen King’s rock ‘n’ roll radio station has been sold again

Mix Maine Media, which already owns the other two Zone Corp. stations, is taking over WKIT from Jeff Solari and Greg Hawes.

Mix Maine Media Acquires WKIT

Ten months after acquiring Rock 100.3 WKIT Bangor ME from author Stephen King's Zone Corporation, Jeff Solari and Greg Hawes’ Rock Lobster Radio LLC have agreed to sell the station to Jay Hanson's Mix Maine Media.
