CHR? Where's Ne-Yo, Beyonce, Gorillaz, Sean Paul, Fallout Boy, 50 Cent and acts like that? The songs listed above are nothing more than Hot A/C.

And more songs that you would rather endure an alien abduction and full body cavity probe PLUS a tax audit than ever listen to again! Mix 92-5!<P ID="signature">______________

For what it's worth ... you guys seem to be micro-analyzing the playlist and determining how they will fare because of it.

And this is probably worth even less ... but even though I'm close to the business I find myself with this reaction:

a. I sampled Mix morning show and found I was basically driving from 405 to downtown Seattle on I-90 and heard talk the entire commute

b. Don't really recognize any of the songs on the playlist and don't find myself with inclination to invest time with a station to become familiar with them. Am familiar with the artists ... but still don't want to make the leap to get acquainted with a whole new set of music.

So...they could add this or that and tweak the playlist --- but my perception already is "don't invest any time with this station" based on those two snap judgements.

Is it POSSIBLE that many potential listeners just might have a similar reaction when deciding whether to check out a station?

The laughing you hear in the background is coming from the PD's office at 4th & Denny.

What's telling in your post is how you didn't find any of that talk you heard compelling. That's the real issue.

And your feeling about learning is usually shared by a lot of people in the older demos (not calling you OLD, but you don't come over as a teenager), and is one of the huge hills KLSY will always have to overcome.
