IT'S SYNDICATED RADIO WITH A "TWIST"
It debuts this weekend on a blue-chip lineup of stations such as WPLJ New York; KYSR Los Angeles, KHMX Houston and "Alice" in San Fransico. The "twist" is that it's a weekly program aimed at gays and lesbians that creator Matt Farber believes will also appeal to other audiences. Matt knows programming - he programmed CHR's in Philly, Atlanta and DC before going on to MTV {as VP/Music Programming}. "The Twist" on-air mix will be 50-50 music and talk with hosts {including Q100.5, Atlanta's Melissa Carter} in three cities. See the next way radio could be changing {and building listenership} - as Mike tells you about "Twist".
If interested go to www.insideradio.com and at the end of this intro click on "here" for an article about the program and stations it will be carried. If the story is not there, Inside Radio comes out with about four editions weekdays, try

I wonder if one of the hosts will be from Houston? The only station in Houston that I have ever heard of broadcasting to the gay and lesbian community is KPFT with a program in the early morning hours. Interesting move by Clear Channel and KHMX, but wonder if it will alienate more listeners than it will generate?
