Mix Turns 10/What Parties Planned?

Now that all the slamming is done on fmwhore, how about we ask what mix plans on doing for their big ten year anniversary. (fmwhore-we can do without your thoughts in this one-thank you!)

You would think they would have started promoting something a long time ago! So far they say the only present they have for us is new music! Big Whoopee! Is another boring Petapalooza in the works.

Last years event was a total flop! Gilbert Godfrey was totally an ass on air and expressed no interest in being there with comments like;
1) Gee, my career has gone to the dogs!

2) Hold it, hold it! Pooper scooper service needed in the green roo ER uh tent behind the stage.

And my favorite comment of them all, DA DA DA duhhhhhhhhh!
3) My favorite part of being the guest announcer for this dog show is,
The Port-O-Potties are classier than the DJ's on this station! Now back to the show!

Its obvious the novice Pd in charge at Mix cannot do the job a seasoned pro could've. Cutting cost and hiring an inexperienced person like Justin was the wrong thing for Tom Hummerdumber to do! Ten years is a long time for a station to exist in Vegas these days. A seasoned Pd would've been promoting an event shortly after the ring of the new year. Knowing how big an event he would have to plan, takes someone with a solid background and great relationship with labels and talent agencies.

By now, Mix probably plans on holding another dull yet expected Pet-A-Palooza then an average (with sister stations)Red White and Boom, a bogus Bite of Las Vegas, then end the year with(sister stations again)Sparks in the Park.

By the way, does anyone know when Mix signed on and who the original cast was?

RadioEmporium.com list the licencing of KMXB in July of 1996. When did they actually go on air as Mix 94.1 and who was the first dj to talk?
Who were all the Dj's you could name that passed through the doors of Mix.
(Again fmwhore, no comment needed!) Only those who are true vegas vets of over 10 years please reply.

I just think since Mix is celebrating its ten year anniversary, they should have something extremely cool planned in celebration of this anniversary. A seasoned Pd would know how important the ten year anniversary is to its station and the listeners. That Pd would plan a great event for it's listeners as a reward for keeping loyal.
So Brandon, whats got your panties in a ruff? Mommy have you staying home after school cause you forgot to do your housework? What would you do Mr. Professional! i dont have the answers to all the questions, thats why i asked what is Mix planning for its 10 year anniversary.

*Petapalooza is my favorite event of the year because I'm a pet lover and music lover. The event has been very popular over the years with artists like Los Lonely Boys - Better Than Ezra - and Sugar Ray. Besides, Gilbert Godfrey is known for his sarcasm!

Maybe you should stop critisizing other people's jobs and focus on your own downfalls - you are obviously still bitter

Who's the Ass Clown.....I am full time in the same building but not at Mix. Your all a bunch of egotistical asses....Ass Klown!!!
Why did I ever want to be full time at Mix? I answer myself, what are you stupid! Yes they bill the most and we do the least work! We get the toys and they get nothing. It took how long to get your studio's built? during that time, our stations recieved new computers and we get other cool stuff cause our Pd cares about us! He may not be your favorite person but he is Tom Humm's first on the list to get everything at his station. He is Tom Humm's favorite and has worked for him way longer than you ever will! I thought I wanted to work at Mix! now Im glad I'm not!

My question was....what is mix going to do to celebrate their huge 10 year anniversary? Another boring Pet-A-Palooza! Yeah its a fun event! i just dont think Mix has put any special attention on Mix being 10 years old and rewarding its listeners for it! Mix is treating its listeners like Ass Klowns!
