Mix1029 3-6

What the hell!! lol

I Why did CC put Seacrest on Mix1029 for? Why didn't they put him on kiss FM? I don't want to listen to Seacrest and his stupid Teeny bopper jokes.

I am starting to think that in order to be a CEO of a communications company. You need to have no sense of programming.........

Dang Radio needs more competition!! I want to watch CC fall!

Much like Kidd Kraddick's morning show, it airs on a number of Clear Channel and non-Clear Channel hot ACs around the country. They don't seem to exclusively target top 40 outlets. Since CHR skews towards females anyway, having a show that could play in either format opens up the number of stations one could target to clear the show in each market.

Get used to it!
Check back in the not so distant future and I bet you will find several "high profile" national shows in major dayparts on stations in major markets.

Why wait for the future...check out the line up of urban AC outlets in most markets. In most markets, almost every shift is now syndicated. Mornings with Tom Joyner or Steve Harvey to start the day, maybe a local show midday, Michael Baisden for PM drive, a syndicated "quiet storm"-type show for the evenings, etc.

Hey - I'm not a female but I'd rather listen to Ryan Seacrest from 3 - 6 than Ben & Skin or Pugs & Kelly... At least Ryan is entertaining. But then I also watch American Idol so what do I know? ;D

I'm sick of all the syndicated shows. Just another way of corporate America saving their $$$$ to pad their already fat pockets.

I don't know who is who, but I cannot stand the two people on The Bone in the afternoon. The guy's voice is almost as bad as listening to nails on the chalkboard. Absolutely horrible. If want to listen to talk radio, I'd change over to an AM station. FM should be for music ONLY !!

:get used to it" That sums up radio's last grasp. It is accelerating in losing his grip on a listeners attention.

heh, how bad would it steam some folks clams if the Seacrest show pulls in ratings here?! Or worse yet, tops the afternoon ratings?!?

SYNDICATION?!?!?!?!?!?!? AHHHH!!!

didn't that like, I dunno, used to be the goal of a jock, to get his show syndicated?? Now its like a bad thing.

Remember the good old days, when a syndicated show was brought in ONLY when there wasn't any good local talent? What the hell happened??
