I turned on mix this morning and was surprised by how many songs were played. It was completely jockless. Is this the "shape of things to come"? I remember listening when Guy Zapolean turned on the station with Larry Morgan and Susan Lennon. I can't imagine GZ is very happy at what happened to his baby.

As I understand it, a gentleman from New York City will be in morning drive at The Mix soon. Also...as I understand it...it probably isn't anybody you've ever heard of.

Chances also are we're not going to like him either.

New York's loss is Houston's gain :)

just saw this on allaccess:

and before we leave KHMX, new morning show star RICK STACEY -- most recently PD at SIRIUS XM 80s Channel -- officially joins MICHELLE FISHER for wakeups, as of TODAY (8/24).

guess it wasn't really news :)

i had a chance to check out Rick and Michele this morning ONLINE - the chemistry is there - Rick will be a good fit.... :)
