MJ Morning Show ratings drop

How much did they drop? In which demos did they drop? For how many books have they dropped?

One or two "down" books don't signal failure... especially following years of success. Even with a drop, they may still be delivering large amount of listeners within a certain targeted demographic to advertisers. That's what counts.

A 12+ drop (or bump) usually means very little to the sales staff who push numbers on a specific demographic.

Expect no changes to the MJ Show until they fail to bring in money.

That's precisely the problem right there ... they are not bringing in the money.

From what I understood, MJ's ratings went down some because of the initial interest of Bubba last January. But Bubba's ratings leveled off after a while and MJ's ratings came back up.

True, but on a more somber note----------how do you assess AM drive ratings for somebody like Corey Dylan who has a nine hour shift? In theory, AM drive on WPOI ends at 3PM whether it is live or not?

Why keep paying MJ big bucks when Elvis Duran could be piped in from NYC for a much less expensive rate? Between that and MJ's Schnitt show in the afternoon keeping WFLA from clearing Sean Hannity live (like he used to be on WWBA) I wonder what the long-term future for MJ/Schnitt is at CC Tampa Bay.
