I guess someone's feeling a bit stressed out between obsessing over numbers and a lawsuit. Todd will be out from June 19th to July 14th. This is pretty long for someone to take off, isn't it? Most hosts I've heard don't leave for more than 2 weeks, and 2 1/2 is pushing it.

He does two fulltime jobs. Shouldn't that be twice the vacation? Sounds like you are trying to be an instigator. I heard him say on the show that he was taking a long vacation because he was going to Asia for a wedding, visiting the DMZ in Korea and spending time in Japan. He said on 'Shnitt' that he was going to be calling into the fill-in host from the DMZ. I spin the dial and hear both shows for a little bit each day and I hear no stress at all.

The amazing thing about good radio is that it sounds easy. Both MJ and BTLS do a real damn good job of it. All the marks for Bubba can say what they want to, MJ is still one of the best talents around. Bubba has more than paid his dues and gets his props.
So taking a little time off is not a big deal. If it were me going to Japan I would be taking as much time as I could as well.
Work your arse off and get what you deserve. The rest is a bunch of whiny school kids crying to mommy about stuff they dont like. Grow up. It really sounds like a bunch of kids fighting over "My dad is cooler than your dad..." and its not a good look.

My main question was whether or not 3 1/2 weeks off was a rare length for a vacation. Then DToTheJ posted and reminded me Howard Stern took, what, 6 weeks off in 06? Something ridiculous.
