MLB Network To Air Playoff Games

How soon until NFL Network starts carrying playoff games?

A lot sooner than you may think.

I think one of the specifications of the new NFL contracts call for a wild card game to be moved from NBC to another network, possibly either ESPN or

the NFL Network.

As for the MLB deal, I kinda wish it was the other way around.

I doubt that most people outside of the team's fan base will watch the two wild card games on TBS, they would've been better

to use those games on MLB Network to try to grab some new subscribers into the fold.

I assume once the new contracts kick in, MLB Network will broadcast some more playoff games, the way things are going now, they

may have the World Series by 2020 .
