Of course we don't know yet if the Sox are in or not. Their three game series vs. Balt., the Rays' three game series vs. the Yankees, and even perhaps the Angels (who could still get a tie in wildcard if things work out, farfetched)--any or all will decide who wins the AL wildcard. If the Sox make the ALDS of course WEEI
AM/FM and the entire Sox network will carry it. What about other games? Nothing is mentioned yet
on the WEEI or WRKO schedules yet...it's in flux.
Here is the MLB playoff sched, though times and teams may not be quite known yet

ALDS Gm 1 (both series) takes place on Fri. I would expect the prime time slot would be given to the Yankees (if Sox or Rays get wildcard, they would NOT face the Yankees since they're in same division).
Game 2 in both series will be on Saturday and the AL takes a day off on Sunday. See link above
for NL schedules.
--WEEI's sched for Fri, for now, still lists their talk shows. If Sox are involved what I'm guessing would
be a 4 pm start would prob happen (again, Yanks get prime time). We don't know yet what would happen to the game involving the Yanks. On 850 only? Bumped to RKO?
In past years WEEI actually used WWZN 1510 for some games (National League)
Whatever happens, whether or not Sox are involved, the Sox and local talk gets first priority on WEEI
Sat: a football game (BC) is on WEEI which would end at 4 pm. But if the Sox are in and have a 4 pm
start on Sat., there would have to be a 3 pm pregame. Thus WRKO might wind up with it. Or would
they have the Sox game on at night?
We should find out in the next few days. I wouldn't expect 4 pm non-Sox games to be on WEEI
unless they put them on AM only. Then again, as I said, the Sox, if they get in, might wind up getting
that 4 pm Fri slot...
WEEI sched., tentative.

Don't be too surprised if an NLDS game, or even a Yankees ALDS game, winds up on RKO.
As of right now "IF season ended today" (_IF_--and note the Sox-Rays race is very close as is
Braves-St L):
Based on standings IF the season ended today
ALDS Yankees v. Tigers (Det has a slightly worse record than Tex.)
ALDS Texas v. Red Sox
NLDS Phil. vs. Arizona
NLDS Mil. vs. Atlanta
Not totally sure. I believe Div winner with best record faces wildcard UNLESS they are in same division
in which case I believe the div winner with best record would face the div winner with the worst
record of the other 2 div winners. As in many years, both the AL and NL could very well have the wildcard
from their respective East divisions...
