MLB Playoffs 2011

I believe this might an annual ritual, but if anybody knows, it seem it would be the folks on this board.

Are the ESPN radio MLB playoff games on the air anywhere in Phoenix? It seems 620 forces us to endure Mike and Mike, but doesn't actually air the one positive thing that an ESPN affiliation offers ... live postseason games.

Isn't a Rays game more interesting than listening to Gambo or Wolf? :-\
Couldn't they at least offer the broadcast rights to any of the other stations that nobody is listening to anyway?

Is the online stream from ESPN (or smartphone app) the only option for those of us in the valley away from a TV for non d-bags games?

A meeting with our marketing director at work is more interesting than listening to Wolf. ;D

Didn't KDUS air the games in years past? IIRC, another station picked some of the games up, and I thought it was 1060.

The D'backs, of course, will air on KTAR 620. In the past, local talk has preempted all kinds of ESPN Radio programming, including games.

With the apparent thumscrews having been put to TMISU by The Mickey Mouse Outfit, and KTAR being mainly an ESPN Radio affiliate now, we'll see if Burns/Gambo and Doug/Wolf are preempted for the other games. In fact, we should know in the next 20 minutes since the Rays/Rangers game starts at 2 (I, unfortunately, am not near a radio and can't hear KTAR inside my lab anyway).
