MLB Playoffs on Radio Disney

I was stuck in my car most of the day yesterday, and desperately wanted to listen to the playoffs. I decided to flip around to see if I could get another market's ESPN radio, since here in Chicago, it was non stop Sox on WMVP. Sure enough, the Cardnials/Padres game was being broadcast on Radio Disney AM 1300. I know this wasn't listed in any of the sports sections, but I think this is great news. Since I'm not a Sox fan, but am a huge baseball fan, it was great to be able to listen to the game.

It was pretty funny yesterday, as soon as the last out was made, they said they'd be right back to wrap it up..but it cut directly into the middle of a Jesse McCartney song. The Radio Disney feed was back on...no post-game.

I don't know about last night's Angels-Yankees game, but I would assume that game was on WRDZ as well, since today's Braves/Astros game is on.

I've heard sporting events on WRDZ a couple times last year.

And earlier this year White Sox had a few games played on The Zone.<P ID="signature">______________
