I didn't watch today, but last week it was a mix of home and road (Chip Caray for the home-standing Cardinals, and Will Middlebrooks of the visiting Boston Red Sox), with dugout reports from Alexa Datt, who normally appears on the St. Louis telecasts.Today's game used the local home team announcers. But the TV coverage was all branded with Roku.

Joe Morgan? That would be a miracle. He died in 2020.
Very entertaining game, too. Of course, baseball fans who watch any games other than their own teams' are rare. It would help if MLB were more betting-friendly, like the NFL and NBA, but the way baseball is played now -- with starting pitchers only sticking around for five or six innings and an unpredictable series of relievers taking care of the rest -- makes betting it a total crap shoot. With football and basketball, you know that the starters are going to be in there through most or all of the game, barring injuries.Today's game used the local home team announcers. True, sadly. I try to tune songs like that out, or at least ignore the messaging if I like their melodies. That same "Culture" is represented on Country Radio formats.(Try That In A Small Town" is one example of the mentality.)
They all sound alike ...It was Dan Dickerson and Joe Carter.
Ah, so the announcers for games carried on NBC Sports are different than when carried on Peacock? That's news to me.The announcers.

He was talking about???
NBC Sports hasn't had any MLB rights in almost 30 years
You're right, I thought he was talking about NFL or NBA. But just the same; generally the same caliber announcers are used for network or streaming. That's why I wasn't following his complaint. That said; isn't the object to watch the game as if you were at the stadium? I guess if you found the announcers annoying, you could turn down the sound.???

10 a.m. games are commonplace in the minors. They draw busloads of kids, either from schools or summer camps.11:30 AM games? Will ballparks serve brunch and mimosas?
