Both stations sounded great going against each other, especially because YSP was not yakking at all this weekend. Today, I heard many songs from the Grunge era, (1990-1997) plus a good dose of Metal, Hard Rock and Pure Active, new and old, Screaming Trees, Alice, PJ, that tune "Got you where I want you" and so on. The great thing is the chatter was brief, the music was doing the talking. This should be the status of both stations 24/7/365, which will never happen, although, I noticed MMR had a heavy commercial load, spanning over 6 minutes at times. Why is it a believed fact that morning shows have to have stupid bits, plenty of talk, sex, violence, phoney laughter with the dumb chick taking the heat. This is mostly true with Rock stations. What is going on this weekend should be the staple of these two legend stations throughout the year.
