It's the ex-Y100 jocks, partly. A little nostalgia to remind us of the way things were. Also, though YSP plays more "new rock", MMR plays more "alt". I'd rather sit through six boring classic rock songs to hear two alternative tunes by Oasis and The Cure rather than listen to an hour of new music by bands like Papa Roach and 3 Doors Down. Not that anything is wrong with those bands. I just prefer alternative music, and I'll take what little I can get until I get to work, where I stream alt radio from Phoenix.
