Moby back in the ATL via South 107?

Some interesting posts re: Moby on All Access. In addition to his latest award, there's reference to his new affiliate, WTHS/Rome, Ga. That's South 107, which is moving its tower closer to metro Atlanta (Cartersville area). With the tower change, 107 will be able to grab a larger chunk of the northern suburbs. It currently is pretty clear through Cherokee County, Ga., and even into parts of Cobb County. See story at www.hometownheadlines.com, below drought info.

I know that South 107 gets into western Atlanta. I always change over to them while driving home from the Georgia Tech home games when 790 The Zone fades.

I believe WTSH uses Atlanta in their legal ID's now. They are suppost to move the signal more into Atlanta soon (when they can finally make a decision on what to do).

WNGC is as much of an Atlanta station as WTSH, and they identify as Atlanta in their IDs too. Moby has been on there a while....

Their tower currently sits to the east of Rome, and the new location is said to be just west of Cartersville with a slight increase in power, pushing a stronger signal into Atlanta, especially around Marietta and Sandy Springs.

Does anyone know if any of these radio staions mentioned (South 107 or WNGC-FM) carry any of the nationally syndicated country music countdown shows, such as those hosted by either Crook & Chase or Bob Kingsley?

I couldn't find a mention of either show on WYAY's website, and WKHX's website doesn't list any syndicated programming.

I'm coming to Atlanta for the first time the weekend of July 21st, and would like to find out when and where those shows air anywhere in northern, northwest or northeast Georgia.

Thanks.

According to their website, WNGC carries both Bob Kingsley's show and CMT's countdown with Lon Helton. Bob's show is on Saturday mornings, and the CMT show is Sunday night, I think.

WTSH carries "The Crook & Chase Country Countdown" on Sunday's @ 5pm

WKHX carries "American Country Countdown with Kix Brooks" Sunday @ 9am and "Country Countdown USA" @ Sunday @ 9pm

According to their website, WTSH carries Bob Kingsley's show on Sunday evenings at 8 PM.

Can WTSH (and WNGC) be heard by Hartsfield/Jackson Airport, or would I be better off staying on the north side of Atlanta, say by Perimeter Center, Marietta or Buckhead?
