Moby in the Morning

Have really enjoyed listening to Moby on WNGC out of Athens.

It's amazing how some stations didn't appreciate and utilize his talent. This is a man, afterall, whose voice was featured in the Oliver Stone film "Talk Radio." That should tell you something.

With Kicks now sinking so low that even Rhubard is catching up in the ratings, don't you know they wish they had Moby back!

YEAH BABY!

THE BIGGEST SMALL TOWN IN AMERICA!

IN YOUR FACE KICKS!

IN YOUR FACE Z-93!

I'm glad to see Moby doing well. Kicks let him go to try to go with what they felt were changes with it's target demo audience. Z-93? Eh....he wasn't bad, but I never really felt he quite fit. But then again what morning show has fit at that station in 20 years? That time slot for them is cursed!

I'm glad Moby has regrouped, and is banging it out to the cheap seats! I love a comeback story!<P ID="signature">______________

> I agree - it's nice to see Moby still doing what he enjoys - did have talent, but I believe Kicks was having a lot of internal issues with Moby aside from what the listeners heard every day - Do they regret letting him go? Don't think so.... There's a little more to running a radio station than just ratings, especially when the parent company is ABC/Disney.... They did wish him well though, and everyone is glad he's doing well.

UM, Kicks has the best ratings they have had in sometime and Bandy and Bailey are in the top 5 in every demo. Its time to let Moby go.He was great in his time but with the managment at Kicks always on his rear I'm sure he is better off now.
