Moby, South 107's Kevin Daniels help save suicidal caller from Gordon County

Moby, who's syndicated show is heard on South 107, and South DJ Kevin Daniels are being credited with saving the life of a Calhoun man who called Daniels on Tuesday and indicated he was about to take his life. Daniels and colleagues at the Rome radio cluster found the caller had won tickets to a recent concert and other events. They used that information and, working with the Floyd County sheriff. got emergency teams to the man's home before he could carry out his threat. Yea, one thing that I DON`t miss about living in Metro Atlanta! Remember about 10 years ago, when suicide jumpers were launching off of Interstate Bridges all over Metro Atlanta? It was all over the news.... Not only were they committing suicide, but they were MURDERING other innocent drivers who hit them when they jumped. CRAZY!!!! After that, almost every bridge over an Interstate in Metro Atlanta was FENCED up to prevent this. Very sad!!! Metro Atlanta was turning into a VERY scary place! Now, suicide callers on Morning Radio???????? WOW!!! i am glad that I don`t live there any more. It is good that the suicide caller was saved. Why so much depression in Metro Atlanta??????

I remember MOBY when he was at KLOL & 97 ROCK in Houston. I'm not surprised he was involved in saving someones life. Kudos
