Here's some of the adds that your Modern Rock Alternative is hopefully spinning in their currents:
Rancid - Last One to Die (great song by one of my favorite punk bands)
Cage the Elephant - Ain't No Rest for the Wicked (can you say HUGE? #5 and climbing. Reminds of G. Love & Special Sauce with some Sublime mixed in)
Phoenix - 1901 (great electro/dance band from France, this track is catchy and you can dance to it. my current fave)
The Airborne Toxic Event - Wishing Well (decent follow up to "Sometime Around Midnight")
Placebo - For What It's Worth
Green Day - 21 Guns (slower, less rocking then "Know Your Enemy." also appearing on the AAA charts)
The Killers - A Dustland Fairytale
Modest Mouse - Satellite Skin
Passion Pit - The Reeling
Dave Matthews Band - Funny How It Is (not a DMB fan. seems to be doing ok, debuted at #22 on the MR charts)
Taking Back Sunday - Sink Into Me
Grizzly Bear - Two Weeks (this indie band from Brooklyn is the one to watch, already been on Conan and Letterman and this song is catchy as hell)
